Greg Tipsword Joins West Monroe Partners

Chicago, IL – August 20, 2009 – West Monroe Partners, a full-service business and technology consultancy, today announced that Greg Tipsword has joined the firm as a director in its Chicago office. Tipsword will co-lead the firm’s Chicago Healthcare practice, primarily focusing on Managed Care, Care Delivery, and Pharmaceutical organizations.  Greg will have responsibility for practice strategy, solution development, client service, business development, and team management.
 
Mr. Tipsword is a seasoned consulting services executive with extensive experience in both large-scale and start-up consultancies.  During his 12 year, partner/VP level management consulting career, he has managed numerous high impact strategy, implementation, support and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) engagements across the Healthcare ecosystem.

Tipsword joins West Monroe Partners from Hewlett-Packard where he was a Master Consultant & Practice Area Lead for Healthcare Providers in the Business Intelligence Solutions, HP Software & Solutions Global Business Unit.  Previously, Tipsword served as Senior Principal at Knightsbridge.  Prior to that, Tipsword held VP and other senior level positions at leading IT Solution and Consulting firms.  He received a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the University of Colorado at Boulder and completed graduate work in Math and Computer Science at Loyola University of Chicago.  Tipsword has also co-authored several peer reviewed articles.
